Haa.. as a student, you will always hear this from your lecturer. HAHA!! This term is for warning or advise for the student who are studying and finishing their assignment.
Plagiarism is the "wrongful appropriation" and "stealing and publication" of another author's "language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions" and the representation of them as one's own original work. this is actually so wrong for the student who use this way in finishing their work.
Fair use is a limitation and exception to the exclusive right granted by copyright law to the author of a creative work. In United States copyright law, fair use is a doctrine that permits limited use of copyrighted material without acquiring permission from the rights holders.
When I do my assignment, i always avoid from being a plagiarizer because it can cause a bad sequence for me. I tried to do it by myself used the experienced as a TESL student and search the reference from the other sources. That is the way how am i doing the assignment. And, Alhamdulillah, i never caught as a plagiarizer from lecturer.
#But as a student, we should know the 'fair use' and 'Plagiarism' words and ought to understand the different of plagiarism and fair use.
Totally different right? Choose the better one for the better future.. :)
